About brainspotting
Brainspotting is a focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neuro-physiological sources of emotional & physical pain, in addition to unhealthy coping mechanisms associated with trauma and PTSD. It allows the client to channel the healthy "mind" knowledge they possess to transform debilitating traumatic memories and the negative beliefs they feel in relation to the incident. Brainspotting is an integrative approach for healing trauma that focuses on reconnecting the body with the mind throughway of bilateral stimulation and attunement to one's gaze and internal process. Fore more information, check out the Brainspotting website.
About somatic psychotherapy
Somatic experience (SE) is the practice of therapy that values the totality of a person's experience and expression; it is an integrative approach for healing trauma that focuses on reconnecting the body with the mind. Besides attending to thoughts, beliefs, stories, emotions and behavior, somatic therapy attends to what is happening in the physical body moment to moment: inner sensations, breath, movements, and postures. When we work with all layers of experience, healing and change can go much deeper. Somatic therapy can be effective for a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, relationship concerns, sexual issues, self-esteem, body image and many more.

“Good Faith Estimate”
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
